Protecting your personal data: Updating our privacy arrangements

Tue 15th May, 2018 - 11:46 am - 0 Comments

The regulations concerning how we use client data is changing on the 25th May 2018, and over the last few months we have been looking how we process our clients data to ensure we will meet the requirements of the new rules.

We shall be changing the basis in which we process personal client data. We have up to now required clients written consent. From 25th May 2018 the primary legal basis that we intend to use for the processing of client data is for the performance of our contract with our clients. Whilst this will affect all of our clients, it will not alter how we continue to deliver our services. This is detailed more fully in our Privacy Notice – a copy of which can be found here

We will continue to exercise our high standards in safeguarding the information provided and entrusted to us and constantly review our internal processes to ensure we maintain these high standards.

For clients who are attending review meetings with their adviser for the rest of this year, we shall explain in more detail the changes when we meet. In the meantime, there may be a need to obtain client consent on how we process sensitive data, or whether you wish to receive marketing information from us. If this is the case we shall be in contact.

Should you need any further information please call us on 01522 513191,
email us at or write to us at Ambition House, 3 Oakwood Road, Lincoln, LN6 3LH.
